[E-FEST 2016] Debate Motions

Debaters, here are the preliminary motions you are going have in E-FEST 2016:


FAMILY

1. THW ban all forms of artificial reproduction technologies (IVF, surrogates, sperm banks, etc.) to force couples to adopt.
2. If the technology is possible, THW allow parents to implant GPS in their children.
3. THW encourage parents to produce females in a country where its sex ratio skews towards males.

MODERN CULTURE

1. THW introduce quotas on foreign films.
2. THR the influence of YouTube on popular culture.
3. THW rewrite Disney stories to make them politically correct.

EDUCATION

1. THW teach talented students separately from their peers.
2. THBT poverty can be eliminated by investing in education.
3. THBT coursework is more important in examinations.
